About Me
So… What’s the Deal with Lawrence T. Lewis?
I’m an award-winning producer and a male voiceover artist with 20-years’ film production experience.I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed storytelling, but my story writing skills are somewhat ‘mediocre’ in comparison to my passion. So, what do I do? I tell YOUR story. Whether you need voiceover talent for a commercial, corporate narration, explainer videos, telephony & IVR, or eLearning – I’m your guy.
No, seriously…
I’ve worked on numerous feature films, TV series, commercials, and more. I’m a true film and advertising industry professional with a modern voice that fits into almost any production! (Except those that require female VO, of course).
I’m an LA-based voiceover artist ready and waiting for a gig to sweep me off my feet!

Wondering if My Voice Fits the Bill?
That’s an entirely normal question, to which I’ll answer…listen to my demos!
I have a unique, modern, and contemporary sound that can easily resonate with today’s audiences.Whether you’re going for a millennial sound, or you prefer a more mature approach to your project – I KNOW I can pull it off.
But – what do I know, right?
Know how I know? Because I put absolutely EVERYTHING into all my productions and projects.
Sure, You Have the Talent, But Do You Have the Experience?
Well, let’s elaborate on the “20 years of experience” statement:
First of all, I am the proud owner of a Webby Award that I received for one of my Experiential production projects for the hit Netflix series Stranger Things (Season 3), and I’ve produced hundreds of national broadcast commercials. Second, I trained with Nancy Wolfson who is one of the top voiceover coaches in LA.
Furthermore, my experience includes, but is not limited to:
Driving Warwick Davis around while filming Leprechaun 2! (Technically, it’s not a voiceovergig – but I’m super proud of it!)
Producing commercials and performing voice over for some of the biggest Advertising Agencies and Brands in the world.
Performing in a 20 member Ukulele Orchestra at various weddings and events all around Los Angeles! (Yes, it’s true!).
Singing in a touring electroclash band through the early 2000’s in both US and the UK.
Creating, directing, and producing an ongoing, live, immersive theatrical experience in both Los Angeles and Melbourne, Australia.
In addition to those highlights, as a Voice Over artist, I have voiced projects for many well known brands such as Microsoft, Honda, American Airlines, Seimens, Citrix, Intel, Mitsubishi, and many, many more.
And as a film production professional, I have worked with some of the best directors (Carrie Brownstein, Alan Poul, Mr. Hide) at some of the coolest production companies (Imperial Woodpecker, Biscuit, Mssng Peces) in the industry.
I’ll spare you the client list, but let’s just say it’s long, and you know all the names, but for the sake of “social proof”, here are some of the Ad Agencies I have worked with:
- Weiden+Kenedy
- Goodby, Silverstein & Partners
- TBWA/Chiat/Day
- 22Squared
- McCann Erickson
- BBDO
- Droga5
and many other, but you get the point.
What Have I Done Throughout the Years?
At the Age of Eight – Aspiring Filmmaker and Producer
I’ve always known that I wanted to work in various film and production industries. So, when I
was eight and I found my parents’ Super 8 mm film camera, I started making mini films.
At 13 I was creating music videos with friends for songs that… well, they already had music
videos, but I was creating my own versions. Once I hit 18, I started as an intern at a local cable company and became the stage manager for their nightly city newscast. I then convinced the station to let me produce my own music & entertainment show in which I did all the Voice Overs and interviews!
Okay, but let’s get serious…
1995-2001: Production Supervisor, Coordinator, Writer’s Assistant
Throughout the nineties and the start of the 2000s, I worked on various feature films, TV series, and MOWs (when that was still a thing).
2001-2007: Production Supervisor
During this time, I started working on more ‘commercial’ projects (so to speak). My work during this time involved over one hundred commercials, multi-camera shoots, promotions, and music videos.
2007-Present: Producer
To date, I’ve worked on thousands of commercials. This includes creative and branded content, 360/VR, multi-camera shoots, radio spots, live events, promotions, and narrative film.
The Move from Producing Commercials to Voiceover Artist
Over the years, I’ve done loads of work in Film Production, Commercials, and the like – and I’ve come to especially enjoy doing voiceovers. That might seem like a risky move, but I truly want to extend my reach and live my passion outward into the vast world out there.
As a film and advertising industry professional, I understand what it takes and how much should go into work (hence my experience thus far). My aim is to deliver quality above all else.
Furthermore, now that I don’t only need to be an LA-based voiceover artist, I can deliver my work throughout the world! Now, I can connect with various brands, advertising agencies, production companies, and creative directors from across the globe while working from my professional home studio.
Basically, I want to “grace the world with my undying love for storytelling.”
The bottom line is this: I’m a pro, and I love what I do. My services are easy, my sound is professional and unique, and my studio is tuned by audio professionals. I have a quick turnaround, and I deliver my best work according to your specific budget.
Something I love about working as a voiceover artist is that I can handle and exceed big advertising gigs, while working my magic for a small-town Mom & Pop business next to the corner cafe. It’s a wild, wonderful, and exceptionally satisfying feeling to meet and exceed someone’s expectations. I thrive on this feeling and will continue to deliver my true passion – which speaks for itself (pun intended).
So, What Are You Available For...?
…Glad you asked! I’m available for commercials, radio spots, explainer videos, e-learning, promotions, narration, animation, audiobooks, podcasts…and whatever else you need a modern voiceover for!
My overall experience might be a mouthful, but it all boils down to the fact that you and I can both take pride in the results. I’m a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the World-Voices Organization (WoVo).
All of these “notable” achievements are simply experiences that have led me to where I am today. My personality allows me to be multiple people (not in a mental way…). If you want easygoing for your project, you’ll get easy-going. If you want serious, you’ll get serious. I can be the smarter younger brother, the caring father, the nerd, or the warm, caring grandmother (or
grandfather).
My Voice is Yours to Use
More about me personally: I’m on a mission to obsessively solve problems. I enjoy challenging myself to connect to audiences and deliver key messages with raw human emotion.
I’ve also recently started a daily podcast which explores the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown on the Film, TV, and Media industry. You’re more than welcome to listen to it here. If you want pure, raw, honest, and genuine voiceover-ing, my services are yours for the taking. Feel free to check out my demos to hear if my style and sound is for you!
